Dental checkup is a procedure where you visit your dentist to see if you have any problems like tooth decay, gum disease or any other oral health issues, their cause effects and possible remedies

Root Canal Treatment

We treat infected teeth by removing pulp from the pulp canals and chambers.
1. Remove the decay portion and get access to the pulp canals
2. Remove infected pulp tissue, cleaning the root canals and giving a proper shape to the canals
3. The root canals are filled with permanent filling material called as “Gutta Percha”

Restoration / Filling

Restoration and cleaning or removing the decayed portion of the tooth
1. Different types of cement are used during restoration, like composite and GIC
2. If your tooth decay is up to the enamel (outer layer of the tooth) and it is painless then composite cement is used during restoration (filling)

Basically an artifical cap for teeth which covers enamel layer to restore its shape and size. Dental crown is required:
1. To cover and support a tooth which is grossly decayed.

Oral Prophylaxis

Using ultrasonic scaler, we can remove plaque built up above and below the gum line
Routine teeth cleaning, needed every six months to maintain good oral health and prevent gum disease
